Garlic Sesame Spinach is a simple, healthy vegetable dish that’s quick to prepare and light on the wallet. Packed with fresh spinach, garlic, olive oil and a touch of sesame oil, it delivers bright, savory flavors with minimal effort. It’s one of my go-to side dishes because I love spinach—probably from watching Popeye as a kid—and the garlic-sesame combination is irresistible. I usually finish this in under 10 minutes.

Recently I bought a pound of spinach for a dip, but I only used half. With the remaining bunch I made this sauteed spinach and served it alongside a grilled salmon steak—delicious. This recipe pairs well with both grilled and fried fish or as a fresh, healthy side for any meal.
This dish is ideal as a side for lunch or dinner. If you prefer spinach for breakfast, try scrambled eggs with spinach for a heartier start to the day.
