Turkey, Cranberry, and Cream Cheese on Toasted Ciabatta

My friend Mo introduced me to this turkey, cranberry, and cream cheese on toasted ciabatta sandwich, and it has been a favorite ever since. The combination of tender turkey, tangy cranberry jelly, smooth cream cheese, crisp lettuce, and ripe tomato on warm, toasted ciabatta is incredibly satisfying. It’s quick to assemble and makes a perfect lunch or light dinner. I like to serve it with a simple butter lettuce salad and baked sweet potato chips for a complete meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ciabatta roll, toasted
  • Cream cheese
  • Cranberry jelly (or sauce)
  • Roasted turkey breast, sliced
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato, sliced
  • Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste

How to Make a Turkey, Cranberry, and Cream Cheese on Toasted Ciabatta

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) if using the oven to toast the bread.

Toast the ciabatta in the oven or a toaster oven until the crust is golden and the interior is warm.

Spread a layer of cream cheese on both halves of the ciabatta. A thin, even coating creates a creamy base that complements the other flavors.

On the bottom half, spoon cranberry jelly over the cream cheese. Add sliced roasted turkey, then top with lettuce and tomato slices.

Season with sea salt and freshly cracked pepper to your taste.

Place the top half of the roll on the sandwich, press gently, and serve immediately while the bread is still warm. Enjoy.
