How Long To Cook Crack Crock Pot Chicken?

Cooking time depends on the setting. For day-long cooking, set the slow cooker on low for 6 to 8 hours. If you need it sooner, cook on high for 3 to 4 hours. Always ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) before shredding.

How To Make Slow Cooker Crack Chicken

1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Top with cream cheese, ranch seasoning packets, black pepper and minced garlic.

2. Cook on high for 3½–4 hours or on low for 6–8 hours, until the chicken shreds easily.

3. About ten minutes before the chicken is done, cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then chop into bite-sized pieces.

4. Shred the chicken in the slow cooker with two forks. Stir in the cooked bacon and diced green onions until combined. Serve immediately.
