This year has been one of significant growth for me, and I am truly grateful to God for the progress. Growth keeps life moving; when we stop growing, we stop living. My blogging journey has come a long way—I’m not yet where I want to be, but I am certainly not where I once was. I’m thankful for the chance to use my words to encourage someone out there. #IhopeIinspiresomeone
Is there something you’ve always wanted to try but never did? Go for it—provided it aligns with God’s guidance. As Proverbs 14:12 warns, “There is a way that seems right to a man but it leads to death.” If you are confident you are walking in God’s will, move forward without delay. Avoid procrastination. Start now. You don’t need to master everything immediately; take one step at a time and you will reach your goal. Writing fills me with purpose because it helps me live in a way that leaves nothing untold.
Beyond writing, I recently started a new venture as an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay. My starter kit arrived yesterday, and I couldn’t be more excited. Mary Kay was founded to help women balance faith, family, and career. At first I thought that sounded like a sales pitch, but I’ve found the principle to be sincere. Mary Kay Ash, the founder, emphasized putting God first, family second, and career third—an approach that resonates with me as a mother who wants to prioritize time with her children while still contributing financially. This opportunity lets me earn income without neglecting the work of building a loving home. #Grateful
I refuse to leave this world with my gifts unused. I will keep giving and sharing what I have. What is that gift inside you waiting to be released? Don’t hide your book, don’t shelve that song, and don’t delay starting your business. Do what you are meant to do—time once passed cannot be reclaimed.
We are entering the last quarter of the year—live each day intentionally as if it were your last, while still planning for the future. Remember that Jesus is coming soon, and let your actions reflect that truth: “Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.” Colossians 3:17
Let’s raise our glasses to an outstanding October. Happy Independence Day to every Nigerian and to readers in Southern Cameroon. I will continue to share compelling stories, practical tips and recipes, weekly updates, and progress reports from my Mary Kay journey.
