Calories: 354kcal
Ingredients
- 114 grams coconut flour (1 cup)
- 14 grams baking powder (1 TBS)
- 3 grams salt (1/2 tsp)
- 2 grams xanthan gum (1 tsp)
- 4 large eggs, room temperature
- 180 milliliters olive oil or oil of choice (3/4 cup)
- 2 TBS warm water
- sesame seeds, for topping
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray 3–5 silicone burger molds—use 3 for thicker buns or 5 for thinner buns—or shape foil rings as molds.
-
In a large bowl, sift or whisk together the coconut flour, baking powder, salt and xanthan gum until there are no lumps.
-
Add the eggs and stir until the dry ingredients are moistened and begin to form a dough.
-
Pour in the oil and mix until combined. Add the warm water and stir for about 20 seconds until the dough is smooth and slightly moist.
-
Form the dough into a ball and gently massage it to check texture. It should be smooth and slightly tacky but not sticky.
-
Divide the dough evenly among the prepared molds. Roll each portion into a smooth ball and flatten to fill the mold, smoothing the surface.
-
Whisk one egg with 1 tablespoon water to make an egg wash. Lightly brush the tops of the buns.
-
Sprinkle sesame seeds over each bun to taste. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
-
Remove from the oven and let cool in the molds for about 15 minutes. Transfer buns to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
-
Slice each bun horizontally when ready to use. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature up to 3 days or freeze up to 3 months.

Course: Main Course
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 6 1/4lb burgers
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
- seasonings of choice (salt, pepper, garlic powder, etc.)
- cheese slices, optional
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). In a bowl, mix the ground beef with your chosen seasonings until evenly combined.

Bake for 5–10 minutes, depending on thickness and desired doneness. Aim for an internal temperature between 155–165°F (68–74°C) for well-done.
-
Remove the patties from the oven, add a slice of cheese if desired, and let it melt before serving.
